Hi Ducky, welcome to the forums! Odd post, but never mind.

Move on. Don't worry about it.

A more detailed description of your problem might be useful.

I did Help , Report Abuse, etc.

It worked fine for me.

Yes, they removved it from the Pie menu. You get the Information you need from their Profile, and i believe there is an Abuse report Option there, and there is one under the help menu at the top of the Game screen.

Use the one under the Help menu. Next to the name field, where you cannot directly type in a name, there is a button named Select. Click that. An additional window will pop out alongside the first window allowing you to select the name to report. Type the abuser's exact name into the field provided at the top of this new window. When it appears in the field just below, that means that name exists and has been found in Search. Choose select in the new pop-out window, and it will appear in the name field of the basic AR window. Proceed to fill in ALL the information required in this window - they re3ally will ignore one if it is incomplete. Give them as much information and evidence as you can provide - paste & copy useful chat logs, for example. Get others who were there to report the abuser as well - multiple ARs carry more weight.

Expect a general attack that threatens the stability of a sim or region to get a lot more attention than one that merely attacks one person.

Good luck.

Good lord, are you a professional AR sender? What are you ARing for?

And before anyone says anything, I believe one of the reasons that serious ARs get little attention is that LL is swamped with too many ARs about things you can either solve yourself or walk away from.

Chas has a point. The OP has only been in SL a couple of months and has sent "loets" of ARs. I've sent one in a year and a half. There's definitely something fishy here.

I've sent about 4 in almost 2 years. Only one recieved any resolution that I'm aware of and I believe that was because I got "live help' immediately after ARing the attack.......that was back when live help was actually staffed by volunteers and a few Lindens.

ARing is mostly a joke. ARing for petty annoyances certainly contribute to uselessness of the system by swamping the system with things like "Tommy Avatar repeatedly clicked on my xcite bits after I told him to stop. He's harrassing me. Ban his butt". Simple solution: Remove your xcite. Don't laugh, I've seen somone do that in game. Even after 3 or 4 people told her the solution.

AR only when necessary.......and hope for a resolution. But, seek a resolution on your own first........you will have more luck solving it that way.

I'm most impressed that you have a few Lindens on your friends list. Well, not really.
And if you do, why on earth didn't you ask one of your many Linden (or Lindend) friends to explain how to AR someone!?

Poilicing groups my a**e.

I have experience of these sorts of police groups.

It's a bad business all-round.

I'm glad he let you off with a warning. Things could have got nasty for you otherwise.

Did you try knocking his hat off?

No, but I spoke to her commanding officer. She wasn't wearing a hat and was quite charming.

I see. So she didn't mistake you for a Brazillian electrician and open fire then?

No, I was careful. I didn't look innocent, speak Portuguese or board any underground trains while I was with her. I also wore a bullet-proof helmet just in case.
