i'll admit to buying ppl things for selfish reasons. at least half a dozen times i have escorted a newbie to aces to pick out a house (my treat). this is down to them building something very ugly near me or some land i may be selling.

I was at an official one, I was bringing in an alt. I don't think residents can get there any other way, can we? The lindens, however, could make it possible ... isn't that what the official mentor program enables, presence at OI and Help? The degree of rampant puzzlement was very sad to see. I think there needs to be an attendant there all the time. If I had thought of it, I would have sent my main to OI Public and seen if there was anyone there, and sent them all there! I was so startled that I just stood around for 2 hours helping people and handing out packets. Snap! In fact I logged out still in OE and hung around for another hour at the next login before getting away LOL With RAOGK it can be Christmas every day  _____________________

But seriously, any halfway decent training manager could put together a more effective mentoring program with one hand behind their back. What I've done, too, is pop in all the landmarks to all the super duper cool non-sex related places I can find; I can remember thinking "is this all there is to SL? Casinos and sex?" It wasn't until some kind souls showed me around that I realized that SL can be SO much more. Can I have a copy of those LMs? I'm almost worn out... /me grins... |

I am a level 70 Paladin! /me laughs... love that t-shirt I' one, though....one part geek, one part part-time neko, several parts linguist/Egyptologist, one part ex-goth that still wears black all the time(yes, you CAN be a geek goth....goth geek....anyone know Dork Tower?.....and I've never even seen a live pocket protector...but I got a calculator that can do formulas and stuff. And my first computer was a Commodore 64. _____________________
