From: Trout Recreant If you're in Germany, it might be blocked. Aren't there some laws in Germany restricting access to things with Nazi overtones? I'm obviously not familiar with german law, but if that's the case, it might be blocked. I was actually pretty impressed at how authentic the portrayal of the Nazis were in that clip. Right down to Hitler's hand shaking when he removed his glasses. --------------- I don't think the joke would be as funny if you could understand the German though - because the big part of the joke is him ranting in German, which is translated into English internet speak in the subtitles. the ((((( 's and stuff.

The Real Media bit was wrong. Philip was out of Real by the time it was ad polluted garbage. He simply did the streaming, which is what he did for SL.
Otherwise the clip is pretty funny, but as another poster said, the concept has been done, to death.

The video is hysterically funny.
The film it borrows from, "Downfall" (German/Austrian 2004) is a very good film as well. I saw it on "ON Demand" Cable, around 6 months ago, it's probably still around to see and the DVD is rentable.

From: Chosen Few Heh, funny stuff.
That clip has been used so many times though, for so many different things, does anyone else feel the gag is maybe getting a little tired? As long as the writing is creative I don't care. It was funny.

From: Bradley Bracken As long as the writing is creative I don't care. It was funny. Exactly. If we are going to judge by originality of concept , them most Hollywood Movies, even the good ones, would be consodered derivative. I saw it 3 weeks ago, and I ached from laughing so hard.

Brilliant.
Who cares if the concept and the film clip have been used before? Still brilliant.
Maybe one day someone will organize a contest with a prize for the best adaptation of this clip. I mean, they give Oscas for the best adaptation from another medium, right?

That clip has been used so many times though, for so many different things, does anyone else feel the gag is maybe getting a little tired? Each version of it I've seen has appeared clever when taken individually, but I must say there maybe comes a point when it just seems a little silly to keep reusing the same thing. Still, I guess it's cool that SL has made it onto the list.
You could say the same about the "Ate My Balls" stuff that as flooding the net years ago. As long as a few funny versions make it through, it's all good.
