What would you do with this room?

I bought this catamaran about a year ago, the room in the picture below contains a bed on the left and a bathroom on the right which I always remove cause I have no need of either one. Any ideas on what would look very cool in these rooms?

Hot tub!

edit: or a bar or a bed.

Think of it this way: in SL, we rent space for prims. That's all land-ownership is -- prim rental. Rather than what "looks good", consider what you will use. Will you use a hot tub? Will you use a basketball court? Will you use a kitchen?

Will you use a conversation lounge for friends? Will you use a party area with dances? How you use the space, defines what it should be :)

Good advice. Library? Movie or music room? Meditation space?

I'd turn it into a BDSM room for furry child avatars...but that's just me.

Problem is it's rather small and slanted on one side as you can see. I did put 2 desks on one side book cases on the other once. You can comfortably seat a few people in there but the main room behind it has a beautiful seating area already.

Would you use a tentacle monster?

You can do three basic things with it:

1. Realistic. What sorts of things would you expect to find in a cruising catamaran? The stock bed and bathroom are one answer. Additional lounge space would be another. Or the bales of marijuana and automatic weapons.

2. Fantastical. What things would you NOT expect to find in a catamaran? The tentacle monster, perhaps. Or a 100" projection TV. Or a holodeck. Or an undersea cavern. A huge hungry shark eating his way up through the hull. A faery forest. A pool table. Brenda, tied up and duct taped. A Sion Chicken Ranch.

3. Nothing. Just leave a big empty space. It's simple, and it saves on prims.

I'm beginning to think an amazing looking female manikin sunning in a chair might be interesting. Maybe the bales of marijuana and weapons next to her?

A wet bar, with an Expresso machine?

A Library?

A room that looks like it is full of diving gear, surfboards, and other "water toys"?

If it is a functional vehicle type boat, I'd make it a simple conversation lounge, with a bench seat and a couple "conversation" pose balls.

But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

Once we get the commercial version of Hal, the AI chatbot, you can put a female version of her in your boat.

ooh..a boat-bot.

Teach her to say things like,

"Skipper, that's the biggest eel I've ever seen."
"Captains are always right"
"Shall I break out the poseballs now?"
"Aye aye, Captain!"
"How do you like your martini, sir?"
"The sand in my bikini bottom is driving me crazy. Can you help?"

The heck with the bales of marijuana. Keep the bed, you'll probably find a use for it.

No, and she had an Aston Martin before Bond.

Modesty Blaise and James Bond, now that would be a hell of a crossover.

If you take out the bed and bathroom, sure as day follows night, you'll find you need them!

A HAM radio station in one corner that periodically reads off random numerals.

A small private dressing closet is always handy for adjusiting the fit of things on your avatar.

(And for the record I didn't have a clue who or what Moddesty Blaise was either and I'm darn near Jurassic.)
