From: Laurence Corleone In ZoneAlarm...click Firewall on the left and make sure you are in the Main tab at the top. Change Internet Zone Security to Medium instead of High until MS or ZA gets it sorted out. This is exactly what happened with me. Just set it back to medium and all is back to normal.  Isa |

This is what I did to fix my problem with the Microsoft update...
1. Called my RL cousin to find out why I couldn't connect to the internet.
2. My cousin walked me thru the Restore procedure.
3. Everything worked fine.
4. Tried to go online tonight, can't connect again.
5. Called cousin, who sighed and said the same thing had happened to him too.
6. He told me to reset Zone Alarm to medium level.
7. I can connect to internet again, oh joy.
8. Find Zone Alarm update waiting for me.
9. This had better work or I'm REALLY gonna be peeved at Microsoft.
10. So far, so good.
