Just found this on the XStreet blog... "Hello Merchants and Shoppers, Soon we will be making some changes to two very important parts of experience on our web shopping portal - Xstreet SL - and we wanted to give you a heads up as to what you can expect. In the coming weeks we will be migrating both Support for Xstreet SL and the Xstreet SL Forums over to the systems we use for the rest of Second Life on http://secondlife.com. Instead of contacting Support on the Xstreet SL site or by email, all your Xstreet SL support needs will be available via your Second Life Support Portal - http://secondlife.com/support. We are looking forward to streamlining and improving your Support process. The second change that is coming is the Forums. These too will be migrated to http://secondlife.com as a new section within https://blogs.secondlife.com/. This will give the Forums a whole new clean, crisp look and feel. Don't worry, there will be dates and details coming that will help you navigate all your Support and Forum needs. This message was just to serve as a little added notice to all our residents. Sincerely, Colossus Linden & The Ecommerce Team" It was only a matter of time before LL started breaking their new toy. Colossus...WHY can't Linden Lab leave well enough alone? Or if you just HAVE to have a single support system, why not change the crummy Support Portal to XStreet's system? THEIR support actually WORKS.

This has been news over on the xstreet forums for a while.
Merchants have been debating staying or jumping to Slap.me, and forum readers have been migrating off to a couple of different places...

It was discussed here as well. A little slow on the uptake, Lindy.

SLX support WORKS! lol The Lindens are far to stupid to be able to have a working support system lol

might not be news to you folks that spend time at xstreet, but it was news to me =/
and I can see why people are, or are looking at, jumping ship.... LL's 'blog as support' is worse than yahoo answers and will completely debilitate vendor/customer interactions

Sorry, Brenda, yes. I guess I missed the whole thing until now.
It's really too bad. SLExchange was a really excellently constructed and run operation. The currency exchange, the marketplace (although the Search could've used some work), even the forums were pretty good.
But the very, very best thing about them was their customer support. You could usually find the information you needed without having to wander around some blog or wiki, and when you needed a real person you GOT one, and their response was HELPFUL, not some canned "We can't help you. RESOLVED." crap.

*sighs* I read the email when I got it and all I could think of was, "Why, why does LL have to be so stupid? Why can't they leave well enough alone?"
I mean, I touted XStreet's customer service in comparison to LL's all the time. Every issue I had was resolved by the next business day.
Well, that means next on their list is the Xstreet currency exchange. I mean, it's really efficient and using Mass pay for Paypal means faster service...
