In the coming weeks we will be migrating both Support for Xstreet SL and the Xstreet SL Forums over to the systems we use for the rest of Second Life on http://secondlife.com. Instead of contacting Support on the Xstreet SL site or by email, all your Xstreet SL support needs will be available via your Second Life Support Portal - http://secondlife.com/support. We are looking forward to streamlining and improving your Support process. The second change that is coming is the Forums. These too will be migrated to http://secondlife.com as a new section within https://blogs.secondlife.com/. This will give the Forums a whole new clean, crisp look and feel. Don't worry, there will be dates and details coming that will help you navigate all your Support and Forum needs. This message was just to serve as a little added notice to all our residents. Sorry if this already has a thread here.

Assuming that the problems with the blog, Second Life Answers, and the rest of jive-powered secondlife.com, which excludes the forums and wiki, affect the upcoming support and forums, I'm glad I don't depend on XstreetSL for anything.

I think both Forums will be formatted/rolled into the Blog Format. It will be a new learning curve for most, but at least the formatting works for links. Example of New Format : https://blogs.secondlife.com/message/6577#6577

Considering the mess that is Second Life Answers, it's hard to imagine them bringing anything more onto the Jive stuff until they make at least a little progress on at least some of the problems. As it is, it certainly appears that they simply can't figure out how to operate that software.
A couple of positives: A good dose of Jive should cure any Linden sycophants from the XStreet forums. Also, a few more Lindens will presumably be trying to use it on a daily basis--which might motivate somebody to actually do something to fix it.

the xstreet trolls and defamation squads will get a fast education on what real trolls are rofl.
The question is who will moderate? The same people with the same buddies they allow to troll and defame their competition? Or will LL really outsource moderation to make it fully objective and apply forum bans to second life access completely?
