RL pics

I have noticed the increase in women selling naked and actions shots. Do they know that once they sell them they can be put in places they have no control over?
I had one girl ( ill call her girl she said she was 18 so a girl to me) tell em its ok they are non transferable non copy, well showed her that means nothing.

Do they really give thought to what they are doing?
Do they think about the possible long term ramifications ?
They really willing to sell themselves for in some cased less than $1USD

What are your thoughts on this?

Honestly, I am losing pretty much all patience with stupid people and I definitely have little sympathy for anyone that gives naked / suggestive pics of themselves to people they do not really know.

my thoughts are some people will do anything for a buck?
that"s about where it ends with me..unless they start dropping them on me without asking..then they will be AR'd..
until then..we live and learn otherwise we don't learn anything..

i have women and men rl pics someplace in my inventory..
they are buried in a sea of pics and i delete them when i come passed them anytime they turn up..
i just don't understand the random drop pic thing..it's so yahoo bot it's not even funny.

My take on RL pics - if they're in a profile or offered immediately - they're probably bogus, I pay them no attention. Later in a relationship, I take them for real, but, they can either enhance or hurt the fantasy - it's kinda risky...........

Some people post this kind of stuff on MySpace so I'm not surprised at all they'd be doing it in SL. Some even send it from their cell phones. It's the latest craze with the young and stupid, or so I hear. They call it "sexting."

That said... better hope the "girl" really is over 18 because it's possession of child porn if you accept any pictures.

I did get a nice "throw a raging fit" animation from someone -- no slobbering though.

/me adds just one more item to her "Oooh... They PAY for that?" list. (O.o)

Almost as sad as ppl paying 300L for something from the net that cost you 10l to import into SL

Must be the crowd I run with. I've yet to recieve a single riske picture from either a stranger or a friend in SL.

Never got them from friends and 2 of them came when i was alone and in a furniture shop

Some of us - liek me - change our pics in our profiles on a consistent basis. I never keep teh same pic in my profile for a long long time. Sometimes its from real and soemtimes its a pic i take in sl of myself. So I dont think you can be sure its "bogus". That seems a sweeping statement.

A good profile changes often to reflect the avi's feelings and ideas.

But I dont sell my pics of me naked. Not here.

1. What makes anyone think that the pics are of the person?

2. Some people are exhibitionists and like to be seen naked, so it's not a problem for them if they are spread far and wide.

2 yes they are and good for them I am talking about the ones who think they are safe being sold in SL with no copy no transfer on them thinking they cant be used out side of SL on a site like rate my .....

Yes, but it doesn't mean that they do sell RL pics of themselves - just RL pics of naked bodies, wherever they get them from.

Then if that is so best hope they are all of the same parson but my point is this, If you sell RL pics of your naked self remember you lose all control over what happens with them once you give them to another

I'm a frequent updater, too, and I've started to post pictures in my RL profile that's something I've often made through the GIMP. Mostly RL composite images in fantasy settings. Sometimes they're pictures of me, but obscured enough to only be slightly recognizable, other times I use pictures nabbed off the Internet and tweek everything.

To the best of my knowledge, there are no nude pictures of me in the real world, and at my age, there sure as heck won't be any in the future. I thank God every night for Lycra and under wires.
