I guess I stood next to my window for too long or something and the image got baked onto my jeans. Note that the image also appears on my naked feet. How do I get rid of this? I've cleard the cash and relogged several times and it's still there. My alt, which I run from a different computer can see it. My SL girlfriend sees it and she's a thousand miles away on a different company's network. Further, I'm confused, the way SL works with its UUI (Universally Unique Identifier) code, shouldn't everyone who's ever bought these jeans have the same image on theirs? BTW, the jeans are DragonFly Designs Man About Town Jeans (low rise) that I bought on May 15 if that helps and/or matters.

You might also need to rebake. (advanced->character->rebake textures, use ctrl-Alt-D if you don't see an advanced menu.) Keep the SL viewer in the foreground while this is happening. Also /327/0a/264337/1.html for more recent talk on this.

Thank you for the reminder of that feature, Viktoria.
Computers being computers, tho, suddenly the image is no longer there.
If it comes back I'll certainly try that and reply with the results.
Thank you also for the extra link.

Next time, remember to take everything out of your pockets before you throw your jeans in the dryer.

From: ColonelKernel Biegeleisen Further, I'm confused, the way SL works with its UUI (Universally Unique Identifier) code, shouldn't everyone who's ever bought these jeans have the same image on theirs? If I understand correctly, each time an object is ressed it gets it's own UUID. If you take the jeans into inventory and res them out again, they get a new UUID.
