Is there a rhyme or reason or Jira for this?
Character rebake fixes it, then sometimes it comes back, it's really
not very often, just a 2nd time.

I thought it was just me seeing that happening to me
seems to be doing it to me in the RC

not sure if it is happening on the reg client as I only use the RC

I just do a rebake and all is well

(seems to happen though when I switch windows to go to something in firefox or photoshop, etc)

not sure if there is a jira, if you find one or if someone knows of a jira on this issue post a link here and I will vote.

(I get lost in the jira)

It isn't just the RC. This has happened to me at least once with every viewer released in the past year.

Don't know if there is a JIRA for it but if there is I would vote for it.

I've had that occur several times. I just rebake and go on.

I've had somthing like that happen...but I suddenly was wearing my partners skin and blouse lol was rather odd lol

If you ask a Linden what causes that, they'll say, "Update your video drivers." Yeah, I updated my video drivers and it stopped doing that for me.

I've also noticed this little glitch from time to time if you're doing a multi-tasking with two major resource hogs. Photoshop and SL do NOT like sharing or playing nicely with each other

wasn't hitting the right Jira search words.
It wouldn't be so bad if it stayed local to view
ahah wearing private msges gives new meaning to "lines on my face" or reading my thoughts!

yah Bebake works, but when I looked away aCk it was back 'till I rebaked.
Maybe it is related to pushing the graphics card and large draw distance and using heavy apps mulitasking.

I have the most recent drivers for my nvidia and generaly the only thing I keep open with SL is my firefox. It happens to me about once a week and I am using the most recent RC.

I have the most up to date drivers
however I do tend to multi task, very heavily

so I do not worry much about it and just rebake and move on
