Where can I find others like us?

Where can I go either on these forums or in sl to find other couples to meet with, perhaps at clubs or something? We are a BDSM couple looking for others.

Searching for "BDSM" in any search category will reveal a multitude of possibilites. You will need to have "adult" enabled in both your preferences and on the search box.

Good luck. I have looked often and came up lacking with most places in world. Not that there is anything wrong with the places I have been, they are just not what I am looking for. Most seemed to be geared to finding partners and not so much for those of us who are already in a committed relationship.

Right off hand, there are several of us here. Myself and Clover are a couple. Love and Lexxi are another couple, and Damien and Hera (ak Amara) are another couple. I am certain there are many others but I do not know all that many people here much less who all is paired with who.

There is another SL board, SLUniverse, that has a BDSM forum and group there. I was active on that board once and there are several very nice people that call it home. We used to hold irregular "munches" just to socialize but I do not know if that group is still active.

My girl clover and I are also born on the same date. I do not know if this is the same reason for you, but for me, SL is known for short partnerships and relationships that come and go. She is not "bent that way" and neither is the OP. How would anyone assume she was les if she is dating Damien? What does sexual pref have to do with BDSM? I think you lost me in there somewhere because I am not following your train of thought.

Both Hera and Lexxi have referred to their Master and Mistress, respectively, in several posts. So no "outing" done there and Amara has made it very clear that Hera is her alt.

You outed them for their BDSM hobby. Not everyone is as open about these things are you are and that is why it's against the ToS to declare personal information about others.
Some may argue the distinction here, but I also feel it's a matter of respect for people's privacy.

It's quite a bit different when someone devulges information about themselves over someone else doing the same thing. You don't see it as a problem but I sure do. Well, I've been here a year longer than you, so of course my post count is higher. I also used to post a lot more than I do now, and I THINK Hera hasn't been here that long, or at least I've not had very much interaction with her. I have a hard time even remembering whose alt she it. Occasionally, and obviously erroneously, I think she's Zena's

Anyway, point is that people just don't read every post by every person. How could they? None of my comments were meant in a nasty way. It just makes people uncomfortable to see things splashed about, no matter by whom or about what.

You took it upon yourself to name users of this forum..........that is against the ToS of this forum. But, since you are all knowing I guess you read that already.........or did you? I probably should report this thread.......but will see how it goes for a while.

The group does get sidetracked sometimes. Don't let that detour you - overall everyone is great here and offers what info they have.

As was previously mentioned, the SLUniverse forums actually have a sub-forum specifically for BDSM, so that is probably my best recommendation for you -- pop over there and post the question and I'm sure you'll get much more productive results.
