Assert server goofed-up?

Is it just my inventory, or a general glitch?

Seems like all my inventory items are missing (even after a cache clear and re-log) is missing, and when doing an inventory search (e.g. by specifying ZZZZZZ) the process hangs with "Fetched items..." and never starts counting.

SL is having some hiccups right now. From the Grid Status page:Inworld, there are group chat issues, TP issues, buying issues, and inventory issues.

Some of us think they are practicing for the upcoming Wed outage.

Marjo, having the same problem, I did notice however, from a SL online population meter in my home, that SL is having another "growth problem" (77,000+ online).

The Grid Status post specifically mentions inventory issues:

"We are also seeing related isolated inventory issues where a small group of residents will only see their default library of inventory."

So ... does that mean my inventory ... *eyes get big* ....

yep...it's all gone.....


And I was trying things on.....so now I'm naked with no inventory.

I just got forcefully logged out with "Inventory system not available" *sighs*.

I have 841 items in my inventory when I logged in the first time, logged out and can't login. "Login failed the inventory system is unavailable."

Glad it isn't just me, I panicked LOL.

841 is the default number of items in the library

Yeah, I can't log in now as well..

Was doing some minor maintenance across several of my accounts. Had no problem logging in with the first three,and even got a free upgrade for an attachment one of them was wearing. Next account failed to log in, and just hung. Next account, no issues. Went back to the one that hung, and got the "Login failed the inventory system is unavailable." error.

Time to go read a good book in RL...

Earlier I noticed I only had default inventory..but logged in and out just fine. A few minutes agao LL logged me out and now..well..I am stuck outside with everyone else they booted out the door. Glad I was dressed at least..

Perfect time to start creating new skins huh. -_- At least uploading worked.

For those that do not know WHY they were logged out -- from the grid status page:

[3:11pm PST] An isolated number of residents who have been experiencing the login and inventory issues will be logged out from inworld and will experience a short delay logging back in. We will keep this delay as minimum as possible. Please refer back to this blog for updates.

I know why!

All those people that share the downed inventory server with me are responsible for cluttering it up and breaking it! You should all be ashamed of yourselves and shop less .

People whose inventory is on the crashed inv. server are just tempoarily affected - best to just go and do something else until it's fixed.

Yebb. I got booted with that one too just now. And now I'm scared shitless to log back in in case my inventory is gone.

Ate my AO too, was able to login to see my inventory missing. Waddled like a duck over to a customer to help them, damn you SL and your dammed hairy ape waddle like a duck animation for "Walking"!

if their is something SL has lost, it is innovation, and the guiding principles that built it, because we all know that still to this day nothing has been able to top Second Life in the vastness of open-platform complexity IN REAL TIME, even Youtube is not in real-time, you can see people comment on how a video will get 3000 votes, and 300 views complaining they hacked youtube, no, youtube is not real-time. Not really a rant, but a suggestion sense these issues have been a part of my Second Life longer than most of the current staff has been with Linden Lab, you need to gain that spark back because in order to solve an issue like this you need to find that innovation that created Second Life.

Okay, back in....

Still no inventory

And it's not recognizing my groups, have the no res icon and I'm in my own house

I'm morally opposed to freebies .

I also don't shop that much!

Just every now and then when I see something I like which isn't even that often!

OMG! Look at that over there!!! Look!

*eeps as her closet breaks and floods the room with shoes, skirts, dresses, hair, jewelry and enough furniture to decorate 100 sims*

But I wasn't affected and I got booted. At least all my inventory was there 3 mins before i got the boot on my virtual butt. But I wasn't trying to put anything on though. Just wandering around the Sim.

No!! Shopping is an absolute MUST.
