water, water everywhere, or: long distance jetski run

Logging into the just opened now grid, I wanted to see how far I could ride a jetski.

Heading due west from the Forum Cartel Hangout, I managed to easily get 4.6km away before running into someone's ban lines (but still in water) and getting stuck.

Oh yeah, a question: do I get a prize?

Some of the sailing sims have very good runs, the one I frequent certainly has an easy 10 sims in line (cant remember the name but IM if you care).

Also, there is a good run from Quan Li down through the virgin islands chain.

Even my humble little cluster of 5 sims offers good wate travel potential for small craft.

We should have a sailboat race at the hangout. Using basic tako boats. Those are harder to control and much slower but they do allow you to still chat while sailing.

Good, because I'm going to need it as the other one is nicely and permanently wedged in someone's ban lines.

Yes the ban lines are unfortunate. Also the number of people that ruin the water by building on it makes it tough to navigate as well.

New surfboard dispenser at the Forum Cartel Hangout. Serves 50 at a time. For those who like a less motorized view of the ocean, stuff actually has a chance to rez before it is behind you. They also clean up after themselves so I don't have to despoil the waterways.

I assume that you do not have edit control over the jetski, as if you did you could reposition it outside the ban lines, or "take it". Which, sexy-voice, you more than likely already know.

As is the Windsurfer I set out, and he also has Kite boards. Fun stuff, and I already have the messy blond hair :^P

Well then, all Malachi needs to do, then, is reposition the jetski and it will not be stuck any more.

I landed on an 8192m2 parcel near the forum hangout while looking for it - it can't be more than 1000 metres away - and within seconds the owner banned me. I wasn't particularly upset. To be banned from land I have no need to visit, belonging to somebody I don't know, is irrelevant to me; but I couldn't help wondering why people feel the need to do things like that without any obvious reason. He wasn't naked. He had no company. He was at one end of the parcel, I was at the other - and actually about to take off again after getting my bearings.

Then it came to me ..

You said you were banned and then said that it came to you why you were banned . . then showed that puppy picture. I assumed that you thought that the puppy was the one that banned you . . .
