Prok noticed this and posted in the blogrum but I thought I'd post it here too. The economy stats, which LL have been making harder to find since redesign are no longer functioning. Indeed when you go to the page they show up as 31st December 1969 in the headline and then the links for xml and xls files just seem to contain "Access denied". Have they been moved somewhere else or is this the end of being able to see the economy stats? The link to the stats is here: http://secondlife.com/statistics/economy-data.php

From: Daniel Voyager I still can't believe LL have not fixed the broken Economic Statistics page. What would be the business case for devoting resources to fixing it?

Not the economic statistics, but as long as we're listing: Tateru has some charts that are interesting, at http://dwellonit.taterunino.net/sl-statistical-charts/.

I find the "missing data" more interesting than what is currently being supplied by LL. Particularly the "Monthly Premium Account Growth" catches my eye. My conjecture for '09 is that its relatively flat compared to new sign ups.

I've been monitoring the broken stats page since Thursday when someone pointed out the 1969 timewarp. The Amazon Cloud files haven't been updated since the 18th, though with the weekend I'd not guess either way as to whether LL have pulled the plug or its just a glitch (its happened before) . It may be that M or others haven't noticed their desktop feed of stats is broken , when they do it may come back.

Whilst the economy data page is still broken, there has been an update of the Amazon Cloud files so there is now data available for 2009-11-21 .
