That sounds like a good idea. I've used breadcrumbs on top of a Shepherd's Pie, but never potato chips. I will give it a go. I have thrown them into meatloaf from time to time with good results.

Its really nice. When I do it with cheese, I use cheese flavoured crisps, but if no cheese might be better with plain.
Its definitely worth a try.

but shepherds pie is lovely....

i put crisps and cheese on top before i bake it...makes it extra crispy and yummy! :D lol.

But it's so difficult to find tender young shepherds these days.

Yeah well who decided on cheesecake anyway? What about key lime or french silk pie? I don't who went ahead and took it upon themselves to make cheesecake the boss but this is not fair.
