Windlight's been working for a little while now, in fact the latest client release - 1.19.1.4 - upgrades your puter to Windlight - like it or not. I've tried the client several times now but keep re-installing an older version - 1.19.0.5 - due to technical problems. Today however I decided that as the Windlight version will probably become the mandatory version in the not too distant future..and I really need to get my head round this thing.. whatever it takes. After considerable tweaking and fiddling with the numerous settings I still seem to have a few visual problems..which is where I'm hoping the experts will step in..that's you by the way.. Observe the pics..the first taken while using the earlier client..and looks.. quite nice The same pic taken shortly after using the Windlight client show a slightly different scene.... Whatever I do I can't seem to get rid of this yellow sky..actually I can..if I switch off Atmospheric Shaders it looks just fine but water then ceases to be transparent..and I like see thro water!! Also..and unfortunately I haven't been able to snap any pics of this..I seem to get these wierd angular-triangular objects flashing about my avi as he moves about. Imagine walking about with a bunch of large triangles attached to you..that's it. Anyway..anyone got any advice..it would be appreciated.. Perre.. P.S. My thanks to Macphisto Angelus..as you can see your advice worked!!

Did you upgrade your drivers?

Windlight does allow you to change the color of the sky. Perhaps you have accidently changes this setting. Open your environment editor and click on the advanced sky button. From that window you can try different presets from the menu, and see if that fixes it.

Here's an earlier thread on the same issue. It might be a driver issue: /327/d2/251506/1.html
