We're going to buy this one next week. http://www.frys.com/product/5954614?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PGIt will come with an upgrade to Windows 7. They increased the 750GB hard drive to 1 terabyte and they added another gig on top of the 896 video memory. All those upgrades for only 70 dollars more.

I just bought my new computer two weeks ago, and already, I am jealous. BT

I just put a NVidea GTX 285 in my machine replacing my dying ATI 1950x cards.
The difference is ATONISHING
With graphics set to High in the SL preferences I am pulling75-115 FPS on the MAINLAND. 50ish FPS in really busy areas. Texture rezzing times are nothing.
In Ultra setting I am pulling 55 FPS +
Interestingly enough I haven't got that warning about an unrecognized card from the official SL viewer no idea why not.
As I understand it SL will only use up to 512 of your VRam on the card and mine has 1024 so in that sense yes it is overkill. BUT if you do anything else besides SL (or while IN SL like photoshop) having hte extra can be a real boon.
I can tell you with WoW the card absolutely FLYS.

There is still some lag in places, but it is much improved. I think this is a good indication that lag is an SL generated rather than my computer generated issue. BT
