Rioko,

You might want to look in Search > Events > category > Support/charity. You might find a group there or in the Groups tab in the Search window.

Does your home town have a local program or organization listed in the telephone book? Your local hospitals could be an excellent source for information.
Valid donation kiosks should have the official charity organization's contact information in them. You should be able to EDIT > Contents and Open up the notecard to get the website or contact information. Any legitimate kiosk will give full amount of the donations to the charity.

Rioko: Even though I belong to several Autism groups within SL, I strictly do my monetary donations in RL :)
