Re: the Minimap.

ALL PRIMS are innaccurate on the minimap. Don't beleive me? Make a prim, 10x.5x.5... Now zoom in on the minimap. Look at that, it thinks it's a 10x10!

All prims on the minimap show up as a square, with sides the same as it's largest dimension. SO if it's a 10x1, you see a 10x10. If it's a 40x1, you see a 40x40.

The problem isn't the prims, it's the slipshod, shortcutted code behind the minimap.

Hmm, can you actually make a mega prim sculpty?

Yes you can. I have done it with making columns.
Using the Vengeance Megaprim Collection, rezzed from the column boxes then applied a shaped column texture map and it worked.

Yep, the rocky bit of my flying island is a 40*20*30 sculpt plus a few smaller ones all linked & phantom because of the whole sculpty-spherical-bounding thing. My cave floor is 20*20*0.5 ish non-phantom mega-sculpty.
