When in an adult sim do you make an alt or use your main AV? Depend what I'm going to do, for horror and violent things I use my main, for the rare times I do the dirty I use an alt. with the rapid spreading of ways to fake age verification it hardly matters if you use your main or alt, both can simply be verified by payment or age even if officialy it is not posible for whatever reason. |

My reputation is shot to pieces anyway so I don't bother with an alt. It's clear what I am like from my profile. I love the minute of silence as we study each other's profile before initial "Hi, there" in IM.

I do *everything* in SL as Briana.
The only time i use my alts are for maintenance and building - and even then they look exactly like Briana (shape/skin-tats), except for maybe a slightly older face pierce set and a diff hairstyle. _____________________

Unless the Adult-rated sim has new architectural displays on showcase, most of my time is spent on (window-)shopping at PG- and Mature-rated sims. *still trying to scrap off that indelible, a-month-old-memories of a certain building in Mosh* ._.

Which one is the Main one and which one is the Alt? Is the first the Main? Or the one you use the most? What if you use two more or less equally, one for business, one for pleasure?
Isn't the real question whether you have an avatar that you don't want to be known as frequenting adult establishments? One person may use an alt solely to be able to build without being interrupted, but may not care that people know the human behind the alt does adult stuff. Another person might have an alt that gets used for selling perfectly PG items for SL kids, and may care very much that their adult activities aren't associated with that alt. But in both cases, they may consider the one doing the adult stuff as the main, and the other one as the alt. |
