Argh, people, stop messing about, poor Rick!
The "ferret" being referred to is Argent Stonecutter, who made reference in another thread to being an ordained minister, and officiating at an SL wedding. You can send him a PM in the forums, or of course IM him. There are many "wedding planner" services that provide not only the venue, including dance space and cake to cut, but also a celebrant (to be nondenominational about it), and even a staffperson to assist in logistics. Another forum frequenter, Littleme Jewell, recently put on a very nice event - I forget where it was, but you may want to PM her about it. I think, however, the nicest celebrations I've been to in SL have been those where there was no celebrant, instead, the couple did it themselves. . |

I do find it a little odd thought when they use the wedding vows well the more traditional ones with the love and honor when they have said them in RL and still married but hey thats just me. I do not remember who officiated the ceremony, but check out "Weddings with Luv" -- operated by Luvchaos Wildcat. The location is beautiful and they offer all services.

I wouldn't blame them! Have you SEEN the price of weddings in SL??? I mean, by the time you've secured the minister and location, gotten together enough people who swear up and down they can be online at that time, bought all the bridemaids dresses and flowers, bought the accoutriments, the cake, booked the DJ... *hyperventilates into a paper bag* I know its a disgrace. You go to all that trouble and only a few make it, the sim freeze's up or worse crashes right before you say "I Do" _____________________
