From: Bodhisatva Paperclip I best remember the "Miss Manners" thread. A classic. "The Secret" was always one of my favorites. Along with the RL "Vampire" who called everyone in SL sick pervets and fakers because she was living a lifestyle, and everyone else was just playing. I miss those days. Unfortunately, The Thread has taken away a lot of the need for a Friday thread.

From: Rioko Bamaisin I don't even log my alts in anymore. No reason to now, they were all made for business/permission/photo reasons. Though I should make a new one, pretend to be new to SL and live vicariously through her....rawr. I have to check out that tiny empires. If you DO check out TE, you best go through me or I'll *never* get you drunk!

From: Rioko Bamaisin If it helps,I never post on my alts. They are not allowed to speak. Dittto. My main account posted in the forums early in life before I was created and became the usurper. Now she is only allowed to breath when I need her to help test something.

From: Brenda Connolly Not even close. The best friday threads were those that came out of nowhere, by people without a posting history, usually ranting about some injustice they were the victim of or a soap box sermon denoting the evils of a given activity/fetish/ lifestyle in SL. They are usually meant to be serious discussions, at least in the mind of the OP. Jig's threads don't work as they may be annoying to some, the questions are usually well thought and somewhat interesting, the discussion gets heated attimes, but the thread bever sinks to true Friday heights. A thread such as Stallion's doesn't qualify as it is an obvious plant. You can't intentionally make a true Friday thread, it just has to happen. Yeah, too many people have been trying to create them and it just isn't the same.

Rose Dove had a couple of good ones.
Oh, and there was the RL tranny who was chatting up a guy in a shemale hangout when some other girl(?) said she was transgendered so she freaked out because she didn't want people in SL to know she was born male and somehow divulging it all here would help keep her secret ...
I did not understand at all. I felt sorry for her because she was truly in a panic but the whole thing was just so ... Friday.

From: Imnotgoing Sideways Immy (... And shoves Yuu back down in the basement! (>_< ) I suppose if you live in a warm climate, the basement might be a good place to lock someone up. However, if you live where it can get cold, it would be more humane to lock her in the attic. Otherwise, I just might have to report you for alt-abuse.

Pep (Anything by you is taboo) If by "taboo" you mean "greatly anticipated and highly recieved" then you are bang on the Money.
