Well somethingism isn't necessarily a region, it may just be a movement like cubism art

Nekos are awesome!

There is lore of days gone by where a neko got the boot from a Gor sim, and that somehow escalated into a war of sorts. Probably just one of those urban legends propagated by the bored.

But nekos are awesome! Everybody should own one!

easy, make it popular, have lots of people join and get bored with it or try to take it in new directions... it's done wonders for religion and politics

then you can sit back and watch which 'fundamentalist' group makes the loudest noise =)

What one person calls "corruption of nekoism" another would call "influenced by nekoism.

I feel really guilty for laughing at that one.

here here. it always amazes me how Western Cultures adapt a concept or idea from another culture, then proceeds to tell everyone else they are "doin it wrong". im gonna post for the 1000th time what Neko basically is:

Neko (neh-ko): A cat. Can be used in conjunction with a girl or boy to describe half-human, half-cat characters in anime.

there is no "true" way to be Neko. therefore there is no corruption involved. and if you truly wish to get technical, neko is also used to describe the feminine partner in a gay relationship.

As much as I don't like to see directly offensive comments made, that one went over the top and came back through the other side (I assume it was made in jest), and it made me laugh too !

Give it time... I'm sure "nice legs" will come to a whole new meaning by then. (^_^)

The only thing I see wrong with nekos is that their clothing is so expensive! Most of it is really cool, but once I find something that I'm sure I would wear.... It's like 400L$ (T_T)

I think it's all about attitude. What's up with the person who stands in the center of a welcome area for hours, just to respond to someone saying "hi" with "What the he** do you want? You're getting muted. Go away!"? If they're a Gor, Neko, or Vamp, I think they only misrepresent the rest of their crowd. (T_T)

I'll chat with almost anybody who doesn't ask me to take clothes off.(O_o) Then again, I'll chat with them too if they let me steer the conversation to my love for Anime. (^_^)y

Well, I dont see Necoisn being corrupted or going away anytime soon; My lover and I just converted. and it looks like in three months there will be fifteen more tiny little mouths mewling at her breasts. Goreans on the other hand, torture thier lovers.

I don't know about corrupting Nekoism, but I've been working on corrupting a few of them on an individual basis for a while now. I'm an equal opportunity corrupter, though. I'll make a solid effort at corrupting almost anyone I come in contact with. Some people golf, some build model railroads...I corrupt. It's a hobby.

I can relate Trout, but as a respectable corruptor, I limit my currupting to the female persuasion

I occasionally wear neko ears and a tail. just like i occasionally wear my vamp teeth. I like the way they make me feel, though i have never rp'd with my vamp teeth. I don't consider myself a vamp or a neko though. I just hope nobody cares about the daytrippers invading every now and then lol.

I don't consider anything corrupted by nekoism. I don't see anything wrong with it. Sure things are influenced like Snowman said.
i have heard people say that Gor has been corrupted in SL. I see it more as having evolved from the original ideas.

I've been Neko quite some time and I was one before it was popular. On top of that I'm a vampire as well. I didn't become neko because others did it, I did it because I like the look and I have a catlike personality. I could care less if someone doesn't like me.

Yeah Krazy...I can relate. I really dont care what others think of me because I know who I am, and thats that counts. A lot of people out there have a problem with other peopole because of one simple thing staring at them right under thier nose...they are uncomfortable with who THEY themselves are. Three cheers for Nekoosity!
