Yes... I know SL is not that old.

Yes... I know ALL software has bugs.

Yes... I know nothing is perfect.

Yes... I know it's better perhaps than maybe 6 months ago.

Yes... add other explanations of non-perfection

BUT.... it would be really ***** nice if it worked, say, 95% of the time ? Or some such REASONABLE percentage ?

I am NOT going to debate or argue with you. If you are happy as a clam with the friends list, go with God. I am NOT. I am just ***** sick and tired of the broken friends list.

Adios amigos y amigas. Vaya con Dios.

(P.S. Nice lindens, this is aimed at the NEW CEO and Mr. Rosedale, NONE of you below that level)

and we pay for that :(

the only way to make something change is to get them where it hurt most at the $$

don't be a premium
don't use land
don't spend any RL$ for it

not so easy thought if you are a bit adicted to it lol

maybe one day they change the TOS, right now we dont have any rights even they really break it ..... like they always do ;)

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

/sits alone on the edge of a bed, in an otherwise vacant room...a single tear, slowly sliding down his cheek as he stares into an empty picture frame with cracked glass

Yes...I would love to see my friends again, at least one, last time...

I like the surprise of logging and seeing who's actually there...

Although I've noticed some of my friends log in and then out again really quickly....what do you think that means..?

It's annoying at times, but it doesn't really bother me all that much. If I need to talk to someone on my list and it says "waiting" or "hippos" - I just click on profile and it will pull the profile up so I know who is who. It's an extra step and a pain in the ass, and yes I would prefer the friends list to work properly, but I'm not all up in arms about it.

I haven't had any problems with my friends list except that on the map I can't find someone should show up as to their where abouts. I don't even have the waiting....knock on prims.

What version of SL are you using?

Oh. In that case

*looks both angry and sad, shakes fist in the air* "I'm leaving also unless I get my toggle raised to the up position! My toggle!" *looks confused* "The friends list toggle I mean . . yes . . that . . um . . never mind."

That can't possibly be true Stormy, all my friends love me... they say they do, and they tell me that's why they respect my privacy and never call.

Well in that case then, perhaps it's an sl game of hide and seek?

I don't even look at it anymore when I log on. If I need to send a message, I send it. If they are online to read it, fine.

It's not fixed in the latest RC?

It annoyed me terribly on the last WindLight first look viewer, but I've never had it happen since I started using the 1.19.1 release candidate.

(Searching for "online" in your inventory will filter on the calling cards - assuming you kept those - of anyone that's currently onlne )

I had HUGE problems with the friends list for the past couple of releases, but since I have been using the new RC I haven't seen one single "waiting" or "hippos".

So instead of wading into deep water with rocks in your pockets, throwing yourself out of a window or overdosing in an anonymous hotel room, try downloading the RC first ;)

I was thinking they would be hung upside down, don't think the law of gravity would cause any possibility of shooting, but bring an umbrella just in case.
