Well, they're OUR auditors and things generally end up fine, but it's a pain trying to do your job while they're popping into your office every fifteen minutes asking for clarification, yet another report, or some paperwork they need pulled. This is just prelim stuff - our fiscal year ends June 30th - so this visit is actually pretty mellow...so much so that they were supposed to be here Monday, delayed until today, and now my boss just told me they're not coming until tomorrow. Yay!

I was out shopping for boots last night, 'cause I needed a new pair to go with the SUPER HAWT barbarian princess armor CX bought me (Thank You, CX!). I thought I saw her lurking over in the combat boot section with someone who was either The Mummy or a very heavily bandaged person.

I called to them. Well, actually, I yelled "Get back to work, you lazy git! The books are a mess and we're losing tenants daily and where the h*ll have you BEEN?" But they TP'd away without a word.

At least, not a word I could understand. The bandaged fellow seemed to be trying to say something, but all I could make out was something that sounded like "capitol tits whore markers" and "HUDDLES mapses", and that made no sense.

A suggestion for us to have a more unified JIALTODie experience:

User CP>Edit Options>Number of Posts to Show Per Page>Show 30 posts per page.

30 is manageable and keeps you from having to turn the page every ten minutes.

Yup- seems wide spread. Since i was out of commission dsl wise for two ddays I had not encountered this lovely piece of luck before - oh well.. guess they will get it fixed eventually...

Do please go vote for it in case that helps.
It does appear that the bug is specific to the Release Candidate version, so you should be able to log in with the regular version to take your pictures.

depends abit on what his true motive was. I tend to doubt he actually had any such problem. He planted a seed here, and then posted his "problem" knowing what kind of reaction it would get. A fairly sophisticated Third Level troll tactic. I was sadly dissapointed in his freshman 101 follow thru tho.
He really might have had a problem with uploads. I did have a batch upload give me an error and I could not even take pics after that until I relogged. But with his attitude, I sure wasn't going to tell him that last night.

I was at 10 perpage, 30 is too much scrolling for my tatse so I split the difference and settled on 20.

Did you ever just sit and talk to someone and decide to click on yourself to cam around a abit and suddenly you're entirely naked and primless and HUDless without actually meaning to because for some reason you dumped a gloves folder on yourself and that's all you're wearing now but you don't even have your inventory folder open to grab the gloves even if you meant to wear gloves that day?

I received this notice from one of my groups - Persephone's Wardrobe Group:

Six sets of boots are available for only 25L each at Thistlerock. They are on the right side of the store, near the freebie wall!

No clue if the boots are nice or not, but someone might want to check. Since I am not inworld yet, I don't have the LM/Slurl, but Search should show it.

Oh someone check for me please. I need a pair of nice low heeled black boots that I can wear with my B5 and Star Trek uniforms. I've tried some guys stuff but it's too clunky. They also need to be fairly form fitting so the uniform pants can go over them. They don't have to be flat, but no spike heels, maybe a cowboy heel.
