She is someone I figured would be. She doesn't over makeup like some do in the movies or magazines. Her beauty seems to be natural. Kind of rare in hollywood.

She seemed very nice. They were waiting to do a scene outside an office building and she was chatting to a few onlookers. It was miserably hot summer day.

That shows a real love for fans. :) Yeah, I have always had a soft spot for her. I even liked some movies people thought were dogs just because she was in them. hehe.

Jim Hensen's crew did so many excellent works. Though some like Labyrinth and Dark Crystal are iffy with a lot of kids (some of the things are scary and DC is a bit darker than most of the movies they did)

All my kids love The Dark Crystal and Labrynth. I have had to go from VHS to DVD over the years but even my smallest watches them at least once a month lol.

I never mind it a bit. They are MUCH better then some of the stuff they watch on TV. :D

Indeed, iirc Jim Hensen and his studio has rules on what they will do. I think they lost out on a contract or two, but they haven't put out a single product that wasn't family friendly (some riskay parts in the speaking parts, or a touch of conflict, but mostly clean and wholesome fun.)

Supposedly they are working on DC2 but I'd still consider that a rumor

Well Jim Hensen is dead now sadly so presumbly it would only be his crew. However death is not the barrier it used to be...*laughs darkly*

I hear they froze his head and can thaw him out at anytime to direct a movie. :D

I remember seeing Hoggle peeing in the water in Labrynth. I was pretty young and never saw a muppet do that before. O.o

OK, I'm going to try to convince Claire to let me wash her back and tuck her in.

See you all later with a black eye.

Verbalating? Verbifying? Heck, I don't know. Go ahead and send the link to me in a PM here and I'll take care of it. I used to require in-world pictures because it helped me organize things, but I've given up on rules. Now I just make stuff up as I go along and I've abandoned precedent entirely.

The correct term is "verbing", as in, "Don't you just hate it when people verb nouns?"

oo ooo....remember that trick Bowie did with his balls? I can do that too!
...
(Oh grow up people! I was talking about the CRYSTAL balls....where he moves them in circles around his palm! )

That's become the newest form of juggling. It's called "contact juggling". Do a search on YouTube and you'll see a lot of really fascinating examples.

Trivia note: David Bowie did not actually do the contact juggling in "Labyrinth". If you look in the credits, you'll see one for "ball manipulation"...I don't recall the man's name, but the hands are familiar... :)

And some guy proudly tells their grandchildren.."Yep. I manipulated David Bowies balls..."

Speaking of blasts from the past......I was rooting through my inventory today and stumbled across the First and Only Edition of the Broadly Offensive Post. Oh the memories it brought.........
