Harvey Korman passed away yesterday. Some of you may remember him from skits on the Carol Burnett Show and, among other things, he was also the Great Gazoo's voice on the Flintstones.

My favorite was in "Blazing Saddles" when he played Headly Lamarr. But the Carol Burnett Show is priceless. It was amazing watching them try to hold a skit together when they would start cracking up, or start improvising.

Of interest to Star Trek fans, Joseph Peavny, who directed many of the classic episodes died yesterday, and Alexander Courage who wrote the theme also died earlier this month.

Oh wow. That somehow escaped me. And I never knew he did Gazoo's voice. I LOVED Gazoo! Thanks for posting that picture, such a blast from the past of my childhood :cool:

My husband actually rescheduled my original gun safety course because I was PMSing really bad that week.

Like alcohol and guns, PMS and guns should not be mixed - there are just too many idiots around and therefore the temptation would be too great. I have so little tolerance for the daily idiots in my life already.
