Although this is a shame, I still found it quite beautiful--

It's about right for this thread at the moment. :p

I just got an IM-to-email from my artist-friend Maya Paris. She has a new musical, interactive installation at the Pirats art gallery that you might want to check out. She's very creative and her stuff is super cool.

Morning

I got very lucky with a composition yesterday, when things just lined up right. Just wanted to share

Wow, very nice.
This looks like it ought to be a book cover.

Pleasant day Threadtopia :) I wasn't very well earlier, so I took the day off from work (a rare occurance). Feeling a bit better at the moment, hoping I'll continue to recoup as the day goes on so it won't be a complete loss being home. I need a new router here. Seems the one we have is not very compatible with my new laptop at all - keeps dropping the connection :( After 3 days of Ghosty doing everything possible to keep it connected including tearing his hair out he finally has called it a day and said we must get a new one. C'est la vie.

Anyway, here's a photo from Madhu's Cafe this past Monday evening - just a throw away shot. Ghosty and I are in there, as is Brann (in a gorgeous red dress - Brann; I kept meaning to tell you how stunning it was), Rioko and Iz in the foreground, Crazod is the little lizard, and of course our hostess Carter with her GF Stormy. Other assorted friends of the Cafe (Solange might be around there somewhere, Beebo, etc.).

Thanks for the tip Eli, sounds interesting. Would you send me the SLURL next time you're inworld, if you remember? Would love to see it.

Way to go at naming names in the Forum, Elora. I hope none of the people you have mentioned wanted privacy there.

Pep (Great lighting and composition too - NOT!)

Thanks, Elora. The dress was from ICING, tinted darker a bit, and I finally got the skirt shape right!

At the risk of getting nagged for promoting places in this forum, I really recommend to everybody to come up to Madhu's Cafe on Mondays. It's always a fun time, good intelligent chat, themed World music (this week was Latin), and no WOOOOO! crap.
A really cool event for people who are looking for company and things to do.
Just join her group for the weekly announcement - not EVERY Monday has an event.

And good morning, Threadies. :)

Too healthy, Mo - need some steak and eggs or something!

My kid's favorite breakfast is an omlette how i make them. A little dill weed, a bit of chili paste, 2 eggs and a dash of baking powder to make them extra fluffy. :D

Ya know, Pippy, you trolled for a response from me three times this morning already and each time managed to make yourself look like an utter wanker.

What possible response can I add to that?

That I succeeded? And what makes you think that *you* are so special? I have been spreading my comments liberally, without fear or favour.

Pep (I don't need formal responses though; that people still read my posts despite claiming to have me on ignore is satisfaction enough.)
