/me blows a kiss to her sweetie.

@ Lexxi and other Threadies: I'd hoped to invite everyone over to our place tonight for a last-minute birthday party (since Brenda and I share today as our birthdate, and yesterday was Treasure's), but...but...there seems to be a problem with our island, and currently we don't have a home!

 What happened?

Apparently the sim owner was trying to track down the source of recent lag, and did something bad to the sim. All scripted objects were returned to owners, and the sim was scheduled for a restart and rollback this morning. It was supposed to be completed by 5am, but has yet to be back online.

I dread seeing what's happened to our build when it comes back.

*sigh*

Jerboa haz much sad today
From petty jibes that just won't go away
Neither witty, nor jest
Get along with the rest!
Now can't we have fun, and just play?

It was like a bitch fest in here yesterday sweetie. I wanted to slap them. They pretty much even forgot what day it was. Try not to let their pettiness bother you. They are probably just wishing they are as good as you.

I have no idea what the poem is about or the response. Helps, I suppose, ignoring the forum, for the most part, when I'm not at work. heh. Whatever it was that happened yesterday.

Top scripts. It's easy to do if you aren't very, very careful as to what exactly you are returning to owner when looking for suspicious or culprit scripts. I found 15 sim scanning scripts on my sim, belonging to a guy who is no longr associated with us. Actually my Mysti tool found them, I was impressed with that. Anyway, I did return only those, but had to really watch it to keep from returning everyone's. Your sim owner probably feels really bad about it......

Mari - I love this picture and that dress is absolutely darling.

Thanks for another wonderful weekend update.

Thankoo. :-)

Or a kitteh or bunneh. :) It really is a darling picture, that 'Easter dress' brings back memories.

Ya, this was th' casual-est easter dress from Chelsa's Childrens' Clothes this year. I hadda get it cuz, ya, I did't grew up in a white-lace-gloves neighborhood. :-)

From: Treasure Ballinger
Oh Mari, I didn't know Soj was your friend. She was mine too and I miss her terribly, every day. So many do. She was really something, yeah. You knew of course that Dreams is opening a new sim in her memory?

I think everyone was Soj's friend. Really wonderful person. Here's a piccie of the memorial to her in the Linden Memorial place (long-distance camera controls FTW!)

From: Maureen Boccaccio
Yay! My Monday is starting out just right, with Mari's weekend update. Your weekend sounds just about right, Mari. I love that Easter pic...and I think your egg entry is a winner!

And thanks for the reminder to poke around the island. :)

Glad ya liked th' piccies, an I do hope I've got a winnin' egg. There are so so many nice ones. I wish they could have like a couple categories, even: one for new builders an one for "oldbies" cuz really? I tink it takes a lot more strength to decide to do that first build and put it up for public scrutiny than it takes f'r me to put together what I did. I've built now f'r almost three years, after all. :-)

hope t'see you on Livingtree. :-)

Hey guys- haven't seen Oryx in a bit- where is she? But it was nice seeing Gabrielle rise from the dead again.

Happy Birthday to our thread, and to the three lovely Threadettes who are celebrating their birthdays.

Mari, great Easter pic, I love it!

I had way too much partying to do in RL this weekend, so I missed SL festivities for the most part. But my weekend was really fun, and the Easter dinner I hosted yesterday was quite a highlight. Picture 9 slightly wine-befuddled adults scurrying around my back yard searching for Easter eggs.... It was a hoot!

Here's to our second year of friendship on the thread, and to friends who have drifted away but are still in our hearts.

Oryx is having ISP issues that hopefully will be resolved today.

Syan Loring was nice enough to let me into her hobbit house.

She was really sweet, took time from building her forest to let me come see.
