Couldn't get the other interview to copy...

Here is the other one:
I met HoneyBear Lilliehook recently through my photography work. As a
photographer, I am trained to notice beautiful women. OK, maybe I've always
been that way, but anyway, after about two sentences from HoneyBear, I
realized that she's much much more than just a pretty face. She is truly a
"serial entrepreneur" in SL, and has more going on here than most anyone I
know. My other Spotlight is currently about her "Garden of Lost Love" which
deserves a Spotlight of its own. But here, I wanted to better get to know
Honey herself and what makes her tick.
I caught up with HoneyBear at her mall, which she has just remodeled.
Mirage Mavendorf: How did you get started in SL and when did that happen?
HoneyBear Lilliehook: I had heard about SL a few years ago and tried it,
but my computer wouldn't handle it. After I got a new computer, an online
friend suggested I try it again and it worked! I rezzed on June 16, 2007,
was in love with SL by day 2 and bought my first piece of land... I haven't
looked back since!
Mirage Mavendorf: I've read from other articles written about you that your
became an SL serial entrepreneur in record time. How did that happen and
why do you think you move so fast?
HoneyBear Lilliehook: *laughs* At the time I joined, my RL husband wasn't
in SL. I felt guilty for taking money from the household funds, so started
looking for ways to support my rapidly growing shopping addiction. I started
the blog, then I got a job, found out about affiliate sales, and it just took off from there!
Mirage Mavendorf: Now that you've been in SL for nearly two years, what
does SL mean to you and what are your favorite things about SL?
HoneyBear Lilliehook: I have an absolute passion for the creativity of
other people, so I enjoy exploring and seeing what other people have done.
SL, to me, is the freedom to create, to let your imagination take you
anywhere you want to go. I love SL for allowing me to be the things I've
always wanted to be in SL, but couldn't. Lastly, I love it for the business
management skills I've learned, and taken to my first life.
Mirage Mavendorf: Can you give me a quick inventory of your current SL
involvement, how you got started and what you want to do with it?
HoneyBear Lilliehook: Going to expose me as the classic overachiever?
Currently, I own the Cherry Park sim, which contains Parkville Estates
Skybox and Home Rentals, the Garden of Lost Love, and the Mall at Cherry
Park (including several of my own stores), all run by me and my general
manager, Axe Bikcin.
I have a job as the Executive Personal Assistant to Ohren Beck, owner and
CEO of InStyle Fashion Agency, and its subsidiaries, and I'm a model, both
runway and print.
I write the blog, although due to time constraints, I've brought on
assistants, Savannah Ducatillon, Havilah Lefevre, and Claire Silverspar, to
help with that. With closing in on 1,000 hits a day, we're all kept hopping
trying to locate all the best freebies we can.
I help new residents as much as I can, and enjoy helping out in the various
groups I belong to. When possible, I work on new creations.
Finally, I'm a Princess in the hud-based game, Tiny Empires, in the Queendom
of Insanity.
Mirage Mavendorf: Where do you see yourself in SL one year from now?
HoneyBear Lilliehook: Hmmm. Probably doing more of the same! I love my
businesses, and enjoy everything I'm involved in. I would like to start
scheduling more "down time" so I can continue exploring this vast world
called Second Life!
Mirage Mavendorf: Any advice you'd like to offer SL newbies or other SL
residents, on being successful in business or just in general?
HoneyBear Lilliehook: I encourage every new resident to take building
classes, as often as they can. Content creation is what makes Second Life
what it is and by learning to build, they can contribute to our world, and
learn to make money for themselves. Even if they choose not to enter
business, everyone should learn to line up their furniture.
If you want to get into content creation, find a mentor! You'll find they'll
make your life much easier.
That's the best advice I can offer.
End.
