Hi threadies - just stopping in to say hi. It rained almost all day yesterday, so with very little to do, we started drinking Mudslides at 10:30 in the morning. Those things are very yummy and very deadly. I've managed to lose a few hours here and there from yesterday, but I'm told I had a blast.

Today we waited until after lunch before we hit the drinks -- of course, I needed almost all of the morning just to come back to life from yesterday. I need times like that to remind me of why I do not do it all the time.

Have a fun week - I'll stop in a say hello again later.

No, you crumble bacon into a V8 Bloody Mary. It's like a liquid BLT.

Quick party snack alert: Take some cherry tomatoes. Blanch them so the skin peels off easily. Then put them on tooth picks and place in a bowl of severely chilled vodka for a few minutes. Take the tomatoes and dip into some coarse salt and you have a Bloody Mary on a stick.

Hooray! We went fishing on saturday, caught our limit on trout (on my part with much assistance from Trout) and today ate a yummy yummy dinner of trout poached in white wine and onions, couscous, and sauteed spinach (all cooked by Trout.) How much FUN can it be??
