Can you rephrase that sentence? It sounds like you're saying she "didn't know ... Saddam Hussein was behind 9/11". _____________________

Can you rephrase that sentence? It sounds like you're saying she "didn't know ... Saddam Hussein was behind 9/11". Sorry. She mistakenly believed, as recently as 2008, when she was a candidate for the highest office in the land, that Saddam Hussein was behind 9/11. _____________________

Because she doesn't think she is ignorant. Most politicians these days are ignorant, you can't single out Sarah Palin for that. They're mouthpieces for the words others write for them to parrot. And even the few who are NOT ignorant commit gaffes. Today, someone sent me an eight-point email on "How to Fix Congress". They were things like term limits, eliminating retirement plans, and subjecting Congress to the laws it passes. Each of the points was followed by the same phrase, something on the order of "public office is a duty, not a privilege. Do your job and then go home and go back to work." It's way past time to get rid of the career politicos. _____________________
