What the hell is going on now?

Last night I came on about 3am to work on my land. I had to relog due to server problems but when I returned my hair was missing as was my slippers and jewelry. Then I couldn't put anything back on again. Since I was alone at my land I decided to continue working but now it wouldn't let me rezz anything. It would tell me later on the time to rezz have elapsed or something like this. So I got fed up and I logged out.

Now I come in and I'm not myself but a small person with breast. My hair, jewelry, AO, slippers are gone once again. Not only this but I think I'm a female as now as I have the famale newbie walk too. I decided to stick around thinking I will get my shape back but about 15 mins later I'm still the same freakish looking whatever I am.

I tried to rezz an object and again I can't. So, what the hell can you do like this? I find it amazing the people who run this game are still in business and they actually were able to put sl together to begin with.

I was at SWG so I know all about SoE and how sneaky and conniving they are as well other games where management was bad. But with all kidding aside I honestly feel these guys here to be the most incompetent, inept bunch in the gaming world. It amazes me they've gotten this far.

Nothing ever gets fixed and fixed correctly. When they finally get around to fixing something, it breaks down almost immediately. They love adding new content before its complete and fully tested. Even these forums are all screwed up with problems.

Then all you get from them is the same be patient crap and the even though they've given their best effort something has gone wrong bs. This is very frustrating and aggravating thing to constantly have to deal with on a daily basis.

One of LL's routers has been flooded with high levels of estrogen. This has had the result of causing all avies to become female and to lose items of hair and clothes forcing you to act like a girl and go SHOPPING! Sorry, I love shopping.

Somehow, Ricardo, I doubt very much anyone would mistake you for a woman, no matter what you looked like earlier, (although I would have loved to see that). If it makes you feel any better, I looked like a freakish bald woman with the same skin/different shape last night. I had gone in to shop for a skin (if you can't beat 'em, join 'em) but there's no way in hell I was going to go around skin shops looking like that... So I just logged off.

I can't imagine how frustrating it must be for those of you who actually work/create in SL. I only come here to play.

Sounds like you were ruthed... Ruth is the small, female default avatar that we all revert back to when things get messed up. This happened to me last night, and relogging at my last location didn't help. A friend advised me to relog again, but choose a different sim for login location at the login screen, and clear cache as well. I tried that, and it worked. Maybe not much consolation as far as the other problems go, but at least it might let you get your normal appearance back if it happens again.

This has gone beyond the point of absurdity. I was at a meeting this morning of a group of about 15 people. It was interesting to watch as peoples hair would disappear and reappear. We would have placed bets on who was going to crash next but gambling is illegal.

I had a presentation set up in gestures, but of course, gestures failed. I asked if it was me but no, everyone checked and no one could use theirs.

A bug here and there is to be expected. I'm usually the first one to defend LL when people are whining about all the little quirks that go on. At this point I can only imagine the entire operation is run by rubber bands and chewing gum.

"Forcing you to act like a girl and go shopping." I really laughed at this one, good one.

I love shopping especially for clothes so as far as that, I'm not too far.

Taught my first class in SL today and for a good while no one could buy the class materials for 0L and they were getting some funky error message like "void payment."

Regions have been having intermittant issues with downloads getting stuck and backed up. I would bet this is what has happened to cause your sex change.

I've just recently started experiencing the 'shoe up the bum' experience. Up until a week ago I always wondered what you were all talking about!!!

Since then its happened three or four times and it always makes me chuckle how *actually* embarrassed I get in RL when it happens!!!

I teleported to a Live Music Event at the weekend that was being held in a theatre and everybody was sat in their seats watching the girl on stage sing. Of course I appeared right in front of the stage inbetween audience and artist - with my hair and two shoes up my bum.

I found myself scurrying off to the side of the room desperately trying to grab my belongings from their temporary home and stick them back where they belonged!!

After all that its very difficult to regain composure and politely applaud the artist.

Second Life has an amazing ability to bring you down to earth with a bump as soon as you start to get a bit confident.

Things to seem to be particularly bad recently - I've had many occasions where my hair won't appear and my friend (whoever I am with) has regular hair PLUS Ruth hair. Crashes during teleporting when invited have also become more common.

Rough weather in SL...

Seen all this before. I remember a point where virtually everyone was always bald and it's starting to seem very deja vu out there.

Anyway what are you complaining about? Hairy butt shoes and non-consensual transgendering is SEXAH!
