Asset Servers extremly slow here... Notecards not loading and so on... it is bad today

Logged an alt a short while ago and he was getting 'missing from database' errors left and right. So yes, it's borky.

All was OK for me UNTIL a few minutes ago. I had been building and texturing happily, but when I relogged - no attachments - so no baseball hat and hair bun. Luckily I do have a 'system' hair base, so I wasn't completely bald.

*mutters dire implications* First, couldn't upload to save my life. So, I log out and clear the cache. Big mistake. I have proven that Ruth is not gone and will never be forgotten >.<

So, I log out again and now it says logins are restricted?

I was texturing.. and nothing I did took. So, to those who were, don't be surprised it your work was wasted.

inventory can load but does not update new items.

Yup, I couldn't rezz anything or create Landmarks, I logged off in the hopes of a relog heloping, Now I can't get back in due to Lodins temporarily disabled. Just glad they were copy items i was trying to rezz!

Editing due to Hahaha .. the resident Survey at the Login Screen .. WOuld You Recommend Sl to your friends blah blah?, followed by Logins Disabled .. Ummm!

Ah the infamous "Dallas Facility" again. Actually I think it's a code for them saying "we are being a bunch of 'Dumb F****' and screwed things up for our users and don't have a clue how to fix it". It's 2+ hours since the short time begin.. I don't think it qualifies as short time anymore. I still can't teleport, textures are about 50% loading, my inventory is non existant. Guess I will fire up my Opensim server and work on a stable asset server.

[UPDATE 9:39AM PST] We have temporarily disabled logins while we work on solving this quickly.

Residents may experience teleport and asset failures while we perform some brief server maintenance at our Dallas facility. We do not expect this to last very long, but in the meantime we advise residents not to make any important transactions or rez any no copy objects. We will keep this post updated until the issue is resolved.

You know, it would have really been nice if they had give us in world warning. Then I'd have stopped banging my head against the prim wall in trying to get the farking prims to take their textures, only to see them snap back to their original texture. Or did I miss the blue click in my trying to relog?

Their inworld notice ability is Iffy at best. When things go upside down I think it fails with it.

A few months ago in a similar upside down moment , i received a completely blank blue dialog box. At the time that was much more worrying than receiving no message at all.

I started having problems about 24 hours ago when I was getting messages that I couldn't upload pictures because the server was busy.

I also had a strange issue with a hippo vendor that was not splitting profits properly but placing the vendor on another sim worked perfectly.

Now it's all starting to make sense!

GRRRR! Seems every single time I get some free daylight hours and get all dolled up and ready to go sluttin around town this kinda thing happens
Was really in the mood to go listen to some loud music and dance at a club, but the TP timed out. I TP'ed over to the cartel hangout to try TP'ing from there... and thats as far as I got. I've been online for many hours already so I'm rezzed, and so is the hangout, but nobody's around and I can't leave. Lol I'm dancing by myself and molesting the radio here because just sitting around listening to them christmas tunes without company was driving me nutz. No point in losing it and going postal if nobodys around to see it lmao.
