Who stole my crabs???

I got a hummingbird, dragonfly and butterflies from Animania.... They are really awesome.

I remember a "missing crabs" thread last month... or was it the month before... ok it was in the last 3 months... any who, you may find insight if you search for it.

the crabs might be easier to find than the thread .. just a thought

In San Francisco they make a crab sandwich thats delicious - an open half loaf of sourdough french bread piled high with crab, slices of Monterey Jack cheese and a healthy spritzing of Tabasco sauce, all oven heated until the cheese is melted all over the crab.

Lexii, if by chance you went to the doctor and got some special shampoo before the crabs went missing........................................................... Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news but your crabs won't be coming back then.

Ok..update on my missing crabs... 1 found it's way to my lost and found folder..i am hoping his..umm... "defects" were temporary... i was so happy he was back, i pulled him out, set him down..only to discover that 2 of his legs are gone..he didn't move either. i figure it was a scipt issue and i will be able to fix it....

((omgsh.. wait a minute! 2 legs are gone... certain ppl in here have been caught holding butter.....grrrrr ))

The latest version of Supa's crabs works fine. The old script is messed up. My old crab is currently roasting on a spit at the Forum Cartel Hangout.

Unless you allowed another to visit, I noticed a crab running along the beach with a . .. well, I guess a spit stuck . . um . .

Oh Lexii! That's what I feared! The poor prim creature must have gone off world, just like my fish did! Goodness knows what happened to him. We need a branch of St. Tiggywinkle's animal hospital in SL, I think.

Ingredients needed:

* 1 tablespoon butter
* 1 tablespoon flour
* 1/2 cup chopped onions
* 1/4 cup chopped celery
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
* 1 1/2 cups milk
* 1 pound lump crabmeat, picked over for shells and cartilage
* 3 tablespoons chopped parsley
* 3 tablespoons chopped green onions
* 1/2 cup dried fine bread crumbs
* 2 teaspoons Rustic Rub
* 4 ounces grated white cheddar (about 1 cup)


Preheat oven to 400ºF.

Combine the butter and flour in a skillet over medium heat. Stir for 3 to 4 minutes, or until well blended.

Add the onions, celery, salt, and cayenne. Cook, stirring for 3 to 4 minutes, or until slightly soft. Add the milk. Stir for 3 to 4 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly. Add the crabmeat, parsley, and green onions. Stir and cook for about 1 minute. Remove from the heat.

Pour the mixture into a 9-inch glass pie dish or 6 small ramekins.

Combine the bread crumbs and the rub. Sprinkle over the top of the crabmeat mixture. Sprinkle the cheese over the bread crumbs. Bake for about 20 minutes or until bubbly and brown.

Remove from the oven and let stand for 2 minutes before serving.

Yield: 6 first-course servings

Wow ... that is a great appetizer! Personally, I would make it in ramekins and then stir up a cream sauce for it including Guinness, melted cheddar+fontina, a dash of worcester, a dash of mustard ... if you're gonna do it, do it RIGHT!

i should. i lost 3 again. one was 6 sims away to the west. across the water. i'm positive the damn eagle is frightening them off.

I bought a scripted rabbit about 2 yrs ago, it was cute and it was set up to run around in a certain area. Well one day I logged on and it had apparently hopped too far cuz it was gone and I never saw it again. I still wonder what happened to it.

Oh wow this is bad news ... I just got a seriously cute squirrel that has a range you can set it to run around in. I figured if I set the range well within land and region borders (poor thing doesn't get a lot of space, but he's well fed) he'd be okay.... Guess not quite that certain huh

if you got the squirrel from second wildlife, don't worry.

i have 5 from there and have NEVER lost one yet.

i always made sure their range was inside my land. it's so easy as you know.

be careful turning on the FOOD option. each of the acorns they drop is 3 prims. and they can scatter a dozen or so at a time. i originally had all 5 scattering food and was stunned to see my available prims plummet and cycle wildly.

i slowly decreased the number of squirrels scattering acorns. whew.

yep he's a messy little eater, but it's just so cute!
wow didn't know those acorns were 3 prims each, mine only seems to throw out three at a time, but they're temp (which is why i didn't even check), so that shouldn't count anyway surely?

I am happy to report my crab is still where I put him a few days ago.

Might check out those squirrels tho!

Last sunday I found one of your crabs wondering in my refrigerator.. don't know how it got there.. but I sent it back. I hope you got it..

I looked and looked at the minimap but could *not* see any green dots!!

/me sits in stunned silence...listening to the crickets chirp... can ya hear them?? no?? Wanna know why???/ Because now my damn cricket is gone along with my running skeleton!!!!
