From: Rene Erlanger That's what i was told Argent...i wish it weren't so. The 2 replies + emails I received were a couple of weeks apart....and more or less singing the same tune. I don't know if this is like a standard Linden reply when SIM performance goes down the drain... Sounds like the estate owner equivalent of "clear cache and relog... oh, well... try it again".

No, both Lindens visited my estate SIM independently and checked the stats and then went through what was placed on the SIM with a fine tooth pick. Although one comment i found very strange indeed, when he implied my real mountain with waterfall was made from a Mega prim...that simply was not true!! Grrrrr! " Megaprims: Megaprims like your huge waterfall mountain can have a significant effect on region performance."

From: Whimsycallie Pegler Somone already has them. They come barefoot or with cute sandels. I don't remember who, but you can probably find them on barefeet on Xstreet. You're responding to a post that's nearly 2 years old.

Heh, I did the same thing actually. Then I thought, wait a minute, I somehow remember this thread. Then and only then did I actually look at the dates.

Well I suppose it's still a viable thread. The idea has neither been accepted or dismissed by the Lindens yet (as far as I know) - so it still has it's use. I'm actually finding the comments about performance issues more interesting than the concept itself right now. Certainly, if this idea would degrade performance, then no, I wouldn't want it either. It would be cool if a Linden would chime in on this, tell us the chances of it happening, or what the true implications would be on performance.
