Your Favourite Silks

Hi,

There are so many silks in SL it's rediculous! What are your favourites? Who makes it, and what's it called? I would like to narrow this down to a few good suggestions, and choose from there.

The Lair Gorean Market makes these gorgeous jewelry-like silks that are all tiny-prims. They're really beautiful.

I never know where to look for silks or lingerie.

I noted that the Analise silks are very nice. Tear off too, which is great. But the price!!! Wow. You can buy land for less

Analise, Solange, Collar Me Sexy. I find other places by doing a search in SLEX. Yeah silks ain't cheap that's for sure.

The Analise tear-off ones are my favourites -- by far the most fun, I think.

Yen has some strip silks that do not require permission. Not the most gorgeous but strip silks never are, way too much fun for Master.

Silly me. The hefty prices are for whole sets (i.e., all the colours of a design). Individual silks are reasonably priced at Analise. I don't want to do the owner any injustice with my previous comment.

My favourite are little known prim ones made by Viridia Manray, available in grange sim ( opposite my shop which is in my picks ), which allways get compliments when people see them.

An idealized set of Gorean garments that slaves wear. Apparently nothing like the books generally describe, but quite beautiful in world.

They are basically silk swirls that attach to parts of the slave's body ... they do not cover much, but when the slave dances they are very visually appealing indeed ...

I like the black silk armband of the SL Abolitionist Movement.

They are tear away scripted - that allow you to customise emotes.
and permissions notecard...to allow you to ban and allow avies to use the scripts.

Basically Gorean Lingerie

Made of silk, often sheer.

Sort of a brief top of usually a halter or a bikini style top

Then at the waist is just two panels one for covering the front and the other the back, only secured at the top.

Its what all the Gorean Slave girls in SL wear - as pointed out in the books they had other skimpy costumes as well, silks being reserved for the slaves owned by people with more money basically.

I wear silks for many things Gorean roleplay and dancing outside of gor. Beautiful Sin makes great silks. The scripted rip aways are amazing in both the activities I do. Allowing me to select who can and cannot rip them away. And what can be said when they are ripped! Amazing results come when you change script and don't tell anyone.

In regards to favorite silks, Beautiful Sin has the greatest stuff.Bam Bam and Pebbles Rockin are the creator/owners. They are by far my favorite silks, they have unique styles,rip scripts and you can create personal emotes in chat. They can also be locked allowing only your Master to remove, which is pretty handy *smile*

The missus suggests Solange or World's Apart.

Now I gotta go brow beat her until she tells me who in the hell she's wearing silks for.
