some money missing from account

I logged into my ALT today and noticed I was 1 short of a Linden which I have no explanation for, so I checked my transaction history and found the following:

Date: 07/08/2009 01:52:49
Group (withheld from forum)
Destination: (withheld from forum)
Debit L$1 L$699

Somehow money had been transferred out of my account to a group I was a long time member of and at a date/time when I wasn't actually logged in.

How is this possible??

I know it's only 1 linden but if everyone on SL lost L$1 someone would be making a lot of money.
