According to that site, phone number is *required* for my country yet there isn't any field anywhere on the verification page to put it in, so either the information on the page you quoted simply doesn't apply, or LL is going about it entirely the wrong way. (Edited to add that it could be interesting to see if concierge accounts who previously verified can still verify an alt now) As I posted somewhere in one of these threads ..... confused much? ....... I compared this with seven different countries and every time the SL form asks for more information than is required on the Aristotle webpage. And no I'm not Canadian  |

Mind citing something that actually says what the fines/punishments are for breaking this "law"? Judge: Why did you divulge information pertaining to secure personal documentation? Arrested: I wanted to play a game. Okay?

(Edited to add that it could be interesting to see if concierge accounts who previously verified can still verify an alt now) I made this Canadians only because it seems every country has its own laws and whenever I spoke about this before on forums I got razzed for even mentioning it being possibly unlawful to divulge such information. Apparantly, I was told, that some countries actually allow you to use your passport for identity when in the supermarket checkout (in some EU countries) which I find amusing (and disturbing)

Ok for those who can't get verified, you can blame me ... and maybe Matthew Dowd because he posted about it way back in concierge beta when we could verify with just name, address and date of birth.
They've obviously enforced the mandatory field rule there and Integrity obviously haven't got that information and can't verify it against government databases as they're not authorised. Hence they can't provide a match.

From: Tya Fallingbridge actually it IS Illegal for LL to even ask us for this type of information. call your local federal/provincial office or better yet your MP it is not illegal, look in the other thread, where I posted a link it is not illegal for anyone to ask for the sin number and it is not illegal for you to give it to them just stupid at times
