I remember the "-multiple" thing you could use to run SL client more than once. How do I do it on a Mac?
Thanks

You can always duplicate the .app and do it that way..... or so says my Apple guy.
or you could do the windows thing on a Apple I hear..... (/me giggles like a school girl, and runs for cover) _____________________

This is what ArchTX said in his post --
1. Find the client in Finder (usually "Second Life.app" ![]() 2. Right-click and select "Show Package Contents" 3. Open the Contents folder 4. Open the Resources folder 5. Open the "arguments.txt" file for editing 6. Add "-multiple" to the "arguments.txt" file and Save but it doesn't say what to do after step 6. Once I have one avatar logged on, I don't see any way to get another log on screen. do I need to duplicate the application? YES!! That worked, Step 7. is 7. Ctrl click on the Second Life Application, Select Duplicate to make a copy of it. Then Open it to create a new viewer window. I have no idea how to follow these directions. Right click? There is no right-click on a Mac. There's just a click. I tried "get info" (command-I), but I don't see anything titled "show package contents," "contents," or "resources." |

CTRL click. _____________________
You are definitely slutty in the best possible definitions of the word. Dirty, hot, and a little scary, but in a good way. I'd like do awful things to you, but I'm pretty sure you'd snap me in two like a twig and leave me cross-eyed, dizzy and confused. I'm giving you a 9.8, tied for the top rating ever given. Almost off-the charts slutty. Shame on you and congratulations. -- Trout

Macs can do right-click, but only if you have a mouse that has the different buttons (Logitech in my case). I think maybe the new Mighty Mouse can do it too. But Hate is right, even without the second mouse button, you can use Ctrl-click to bring up the pop-up menu. ![]() _____________________
