I know this is early but is there any good Halloween sims or houses to see? I have several friends who are currently constructing haunted houses for Halloween...check out Rockers Night Club on the Risa sim, and the haunted Funeral home on the Kahana sim! I'll get some landmarks posted later, there's lots more!! |

Sure is - search on Hong Kong Island, you'll find a haunted house and store, along with a tunnel maze!

Last Halloween night I was exploring the haunted house on DarkDharma's Avatar Isle. There was a trick or treat hunt going on, I had World set to midnight, the place was packed with people and lagged to hell, but it was an awesome build and great fun. The house was moved early this year (I eventually found it by a road somewhere, with a mall or something nearby) but I hope it gets put back this year. Just... don't sit on the couch that says "don't sit on here"...

huge haunted house and also half a sim of scares and items, plus visit the sl the cabin and woods and a few characters from the evil dead. the one and only best horror ever made....
also meet a few other famous people and a few surprises..... Last year we visited quite a few haunted houses, insane asylum, haunted rides, mazes, etc., but the absolute BEST was Octoberville on the Pixeltrix Sim. If one participates in their mystery scavenger hunt, it can keep a person busy all month. (We didn't hear about Octoberville last year until mid-October and really had to hustle to complete the hunt!)

One of my bestest friends is building and overseeing a team of about 10 people working right now on a half-sim classic maze. The thing will be loaded with all kinds of halloween themed sections and displays... almost like a haunted house including a few live actors. Last year people cheated and cammed up to find their way out, so this year its much bigger (nearly max draw to see the other side), extra camera room in the hallways, and he's putting a roof on the sucker hehe. Framework's up, display teams are slaving away, and I'm going inworld now to finish up on the colored glowstix, flashlights, and any other handouts you get at the start. I've seen the blueprints and the build so far, and he's not far off in the estimate of 24hrs to finish legit.

I used to love to visit the now-gone sim of Bluestone.
Every October it was a Halloween theme, and December had all kinds of Christmas themes. Even the movie theater there reflected it. _____________________
