My friend tells me there is a really good halloween-themed sim, possible put together by Linden Labs? I'm not sure... At first I thougth she meant the Horror Island build with the Linden Labs spoof, but that is NOT it. Does anyone have any information that may help out?

I haven't heard of any halloween sim by LL, but who's to say that one isn't being developed behind the scenes.
If you are looking for a scary sim to visit, I've heard that REC will do the job http://www.mermaiddiaries.com/2008_05_01_archive.html <~~ Thats the link to Natalia Zelmanov's blog entry about that, she gives some pics and what you do there _____________________

There has not been a Linden Lab sponsored Hallowe'en sim since, well, ever. I suppose it is possible they might have one this year, but it would be a big change from previous seasons.
The only Linden sponsored build I've known of for a specific holiday has been the annual Winter festival event, and last February's Isle of View. _____________________

Do you have anymore details? If so, I'd check it out. Try Scotland 161, 152, 29 It's called Mary Kings Close. Go down the dungeons and explore. It's a good area to explore on the ground too ... watch out for the impaling spike - it's sort of extreme acupuncture! _____________________

There is a horse-drawn carriage that you can drive through the streets around the Car Wash nightclub. The streets have been decorated for Halloween. Could be fun on a date! I chose to race through the streets on my motorcycle...aiming for the ghouls and goblins eerily floating around.
