Hiya,
I use SL a lot and was hanging out there this morning all OK. Was running SL kinda minimised to make some space - like less than 1/4 of my screen, but everything was fine.

Just tried to login in. The client starts up small like I had it this morning, then just locks up. All I get is the title bar, and black inside, like it's trying to start. It won't do anything else.

So far I have tried to fix it by:

Reinstalling SL about 4 times, after unistalling and restarting computer.

Un/re installed graphics card drivers

Everything else I can think of.

Shouted at it a lot.

PLEASE PLEASE can you help me. I am an SL addict and am starting to go cold turkey.

I am using a Sony Vaio
Windows XP Pro
Nvidia Geforce 7400 Go

TYVM

The nano-second the window opened you need to click the maximise button. a second later and the maximise button wont work and will be greyed out. So you almost need to know where that maximise button will be before the window opened and be clicking that spot repeatedly to ensure that you click the maximise button the instant the window appers. Once you've done that then the window will maximise and the login screen will appear.
