From: Scylla Rhiadra Which SEEMS to essentially translate as a very popular child's taunt:
"I am rubber, and you are glue. What you say bounces off me, and sticks to you!" Yep! Pep (Why do you girls seem to want to change the way we behave? It's a complete waste of time you know! )

Pep (Why do you girls seem to want to change the way we behave? It's a complete waste of time you know! ) Helping a man go shopping for clothes, if the male in question has actually requested assistance, is NOT wanting to "change" the way men behave. It is merely providing the kind of friendly advice and assistance that anyone might ask of a friend on any subject. Why do some men seem to want to believe that women want to change you?

Why do some men seem to want to believe that women want to change you? Hint: "You look like you would be good at shopping. Will you help me find some clothes and come shopping with me?" = "You look like you would be good at shagging. Will you help me lose some clothes and cum screaming with me?" Pep (Men want to change women too; usually for a newer model.)

From: Davin Romano But people keep telling me they need to take me shopping.. I'm only a year and a half old, I have decent skin and shoes and AO so I don't walk like my chicken-cousin alt. But I just don't like buying mens clothes and I enjoy my 2 pairs of pants and sweater.
Makes me almost wonder if it would be more fun to shop for a girl? Is that what you guys do, build your cartoon dreamgirl? Cuz for some reason mine would need stockings, some sort of plaid and crazy boots, if that's the case.. maybe a tail.. LOL
Then again, do I care what people think of my librarian appearance? I like SL for the fact that I never have to wash that old gray sweater I wear everyday. And it seems silly to just go buy another tattoo.. I can't do that with my RL ones, so why would I make my plastic av do it? Let them take you! And let them pay Sounds like fun to me!

From: Katheryne Helendale Why must every guy run everything he thinks or does through the "will this make me look gay" filter? Because being gay is so much extra work. Straight is the lazy man's option.

If you're happy with your two pairs of jeans and gray sweater, keep your two pairs of jeans and gray sweater. A lot of times people offer to take someone else shopping because they don't like what they see that person wearing, or want to try their hand at choosing "new and exciting" outfits without having to pay for them or be stuck with them if they turn out to be rubbish. Other times however, people are just trying to be genuinely nice. In either scenario, just explain to them that you like the way you look and don't care to change. Or, if they're super persistent, allow them to take you out shopping and immediately find the nearest gray sweater and pair of jeans for sale.

Wouldn't it be a much better, more productive world if guys could just let go of these homophobic hangups? It's not homophobia, I was raised in the 70's and the photos of me as a kid in tentbag flares and flowery shirts with huge collars are not nice and as I've got older, lazier and put on a few love handles, tight t-shirts don't do it for me. SL I can hide the love handles, but my eye for clothing is the same!

From: someone who wears undies in sl? I dont mind the chaffing much I do most of the time - I don't mean I techically 'wear' them if they would not be visible, but I assume that I am wearing some unless I have chosen to do otherwise, like if I'm out clubbing!!!

From: Pserendipity Daniels On the contrary, Lindal. She doesn't like *you*, she likes what she thinks she could change you into. That's the best possible reason to end the relationship.
Pep (now allows the Designer Network to update his look occasionally.) One way that women are superior to men is that they generally have a more developed aesthetic sense. When a man knows a woman who can choose better-fitting and more appropriate clothes for him, he is foolish not to take advantage of her willingness to help in an area where he's deficient. When I want to hear someone play the violin, I don't insist that *I* play.

From: Seven Okelli One way that women are superior to men is that they generally have a more developed aesthetic sense. I'm not sure if that's really true or not. I've seen a lot of women who couldn't coordinate an outfit to save their lives. However, I think a lot of guys *could* do it -- if they could get over their sexual insecurities.
