Hi all;

I've looked in the usual places but can't find an answer for something that
was working just fine until a few days ago?

Seems I am 'timeing out' of SL no matter what?
I've tried to set the peramiters in the 'General Tab - to 'O' and it won't go to 'O'?
What am I doing wrong.
I use to be able to stay online in SL for days at a time (unless the sim I was
in was closing down or my internet service was interupted)

Now it seems that 15mins if I am away from the computer is the limit?
What is going on?
Help! Please?

Some info in this thread that will help:

BTW you will see a reference to the debug menu. That is CTRL+ALT+D to get to if you haven't already. :)

Hi just checked out those threads myself so I will see as I keep getting logged off.I noticed reference to some tools I believe if you run in a window these wont work.

I don't use a tool myself for inactive timeouts. I just went into the debug menu and did what the thread suggested before. It works great and I haven't had an issue since.

:) 'Tis free and the perfect workaround.

debug menu ...client > character tests > and uncheck log out for inactivity

that works for me

keep in mind the debug menu used to be two drop down lists, now it is one, called advanced if memory serves me correctly.

Good luck

sometimes we miss the obvious because it is so apparently obvious that we overlook the possibility of it being possible.... obviously..
