My avi has low rise jeans, but they don't show my crack. I don't like high rise jeans.... it makes you look like an old fart.

I also like going shirtless on occasion, but then again, I have a good skin, a few seriously badass tattoos I love, and my nipple rings (can't wear those with a shirt).

To answer the question though... No, i wouldn't wear that. That avi looks like a newb too.

Some prisoners began wearing it so the dominant "Butt Pirates" could get what they wanted with a fast yank on the sagging pants.

When the prisoners got out of jail it became something of a badge among certain gansta wanna be types that they had done jail time. Never realising that it was stating they had been someones boy toy.

Even funnier when it moved into non gangsta circles as a fashion.

Just saw this thread and checked out the pic. In real, fat guys or guys with short hairy legs wear this kinda stuff. Men with blossoming beer bellies and blubbery bums. I would NEVER go out with a man dressed liek that - it has implications about his IQ , his education, his job prospects and his upbringing.

Although it has approached ridiculous proportions, low riding pants are a sign of prison culture in general. You are not allowed to have a belt in prison for obvious reasons. Weight loss is not uncommon in prison as the food is not exactly appetizing and there is not much to do in prison other than work out so it was equally not uncommon to see a prisoner drop down a size resulting in a sagging pants. Notwithstanding the sheer idiocy, patheticness and sadness of seeing so many ignorant young people embracing prison culture, most of whom are completely unaware of its origins, fashion trends being consistent took a look and exagerated it to ridiculous extent. I don't know when the "butt pirates" mythos came into being but you're corrections officer friend obviously has bought into it. The look has been around in prison for decades and long before the super low hanging pants look that one sees in fashion today.

For any guys eager to get this look--kinda 90's urban retro-chic, maybe, if worn with the perfect Burberry-plaid underwear--I know how to get it: buy low-rise jeans for women.

No, I'm not the cross-dressing type (as far as you need to know). I learned this by being the first customer to buy from a men's jeans vendor that had been mistakenly stocked with women's low-rise jeans. The creator was happy to give me the men's version when I pointed out the problem.

I still have the female version, too, just in case I find a sugar daddy who wants to spring for the hormone shots.
