As a commited user of Second Life dedicated most of my time here to help others find thier way and enjoy their time I had hoped for and find the success of Linden Labs grow and grow and grow I am glad and happy for them to achieve something that was deemed a high risk investment at the beginning. Thank you for such an experience that no body could had dreamed of and I do hope things will continue with their success. It has taken a major toll on my health with imbalancies, Thank you for the experience of a lifetime.

Saying goodbye after more than six years? Do you have any words of wisdom and encouragement to counteract the negative attitudes of some of the old-timers here, before you go?

Einsman, so sorry to hear that you're health has suffered, as well as that you're leaving. We haven't spoken in quite some time, but i remember way, way back when you had those two private regions that the Celina Project (later, Tartarus) was using for the cyberpunk RPG we had been working on.
Good times ![]() Thanks again for helping us out where you could (which was quite a lot!), i never forgot it. Hopefully we'll see you wander back through from time to time, although i wish you well (both health-wise and virtually) and hope your future is bright and filled with smiles. Until after now... _____________________

Eins always had regions checked as private up his sleeve.
We never talked after 2005 but he is an icon in my SL life forever. Just like new people and non-new people alike are impressed with age in SL, even in 2003 when i met Eins he was an oldbie in my eyes being rezzed in June, the month SL opened. I wish the best to you Eins! _____________________

This has always puzzled me. It sounds nice, but when you look the words it's "may you be blown off your feet and land flat on your face". It's not really a wish for the road to rise. It's a wish that the person's feet will have no difficulty or effort in meeting the road. A wind blowing on one's back is preferable to a wind blowing in the face when walking. I hope Einsman finds his road both comfortable and interesting. _____________________

"may you be blown off your feet and land flat on your face". Irish people are generally inured to the vicissitudes of life: personally I'd look on even this much as progress of a sort. I'm sorry to learn that another longstanding resident has left. |
