Next quiz might not get nearly as many responses, because I understand that some people don't read when their in the restroom, and haven't emergency reading materials in case they're caught in there for an extended session (don't you feel sorry for them?)... but if you read in what's referred to as "the smallest room" in your house, what's on the top of the stack?
[Suggested in response to my last quiz]
Mine is currently "Vacuum Flowers" by Michael Swanwick.
[When last I left her, Elizabeth Rebel Mudlark was running from a raid in a zero-gravity slum, pursued by an ex-lover reprogrammed as a cop]

Wired magazine Aug 2009 issue with Brad Pitt on the cover for feature article, New Rules for Digital Gentlemen and Other Highly Evolved Humans. VERY funny! Cover quote: "Who cares if your Warcraft wife is really a dude--if it's GOOD, don't check under the HOOD." !!

Wasn't that the question? Of course, and I found it amusing. Didn't you read the wrapping paper? "Contents: 1 ferret".

I've just checked and, there is no reading material in the smallest room - but there is a copy of Skating Magazine in the shower room. :-/

You can buy loo paper that has something to read on every sheet.
Useful in an emergency?
( My Scottish uncle had "Please use both sides of the paper" printed on every sheet.)
OK OK OK - Pure coincidence that he was Scottish.

I used to have something in there. Then I started this Second Life thing. Who has time to read, on the john or anywhere?

I always take a book into the bog with me because I don't like to keep them in there and the book in question is usually the current read that I keep on my bedside table. Today that's Count Zero by William Gibson and I'm just at the bit where Turner and his cronies are about to spring the scientist, Mitchell, from Maas Biolabs.

I don't need to spend any significant amount of time in there... fruits and vegetables, people!
No reading material.

I think this might be a male thing. For some reason, all women I know do not tend to linger longer than necessary in the bathroom... not counting the dressing up part, of course.
