Don't Do Any Asset Transfers

Latest in-world message: Avoid rezzing, taking things into inventory, etc. etc.

Guess I will have to delay transferring my little donkey for now.

So what happens if you were in the process of reorganising your Inventory or changing your appearance when this glitch surfaced? Is everything lost? Will it return next time you log in?

I just logged on...didn't get that message, but I had no hair, shoes, ao or mysti-tool and can't seem to attach them at all. Regular viewer and RC also. Tried clearing cache, relog...none of the tricks are working.

I had just gotten in my dressing room to get into some nice clothes when this started. Now I'm bald and naked and I can't go anywhere. It's bad out there right now. We're getting a lot of IM's on the Cartel channel to the same effect.

Attempted relogging one more time and now am getting that the grid is down for maintenance and SL employees only message.

Caught me mid-change, and hopefully did NOT screw up the 1880 I just paid for tier for a month... ouch.

Not logging in until the all clear because walking around in white undies, black colonial dress top, no prims, no shoes, and no AO is just no fun for me.

I logged in and tpd to the hangout...
got told it couldnt find my body parts or clothing in the database...
Ended up ruthed and in white clothes...
TPd to a sim that was thought to be safe....
Arrived nekkid and ruthed...
Cant wear clothes, in a strange sim, so i decided to relog. Stupidly.

Now i can't get back in

/me is bald, 1/2 nekkid and don't have proper shoes on..
/me cries.

Well not only a week. I posted so many times about that. Only new features, rest fucked up. All in ass bug is fixed in viewers from third parties - LL thinks about glowing skies.
Do i have to tell more? This ship sinks and i am the captain on my sim that has to drown with the ship

God forbid a "new user" did this, the trolls would literally rip and tear the posting soul out of him/her making positively sure that the "new user" will never have the desire to post here again.
OMG asset server failure, lets start a thread and alert others who arent so "obvious" about it.

we're all in the same boat here, ED. Dragging your views on how you perceive you were treated on a different thread into this has nothing to do with the issue at hand, surely?

perhaps monitoring and observing (lurking) what actually goes on in these forums would better inform you of what goes on behind the scenes.

um...I didn't see anything wrong with this thread. Maybe there wasn't a question, but at least it's on topic. I think we're all just grumpy with all the asset problems.

i asked a simple question.
to see if anyone may have experienced the issue i was experiencing.
the replies i got were along the lines that i had an object moving into a no object entry zone.
for obvious reasons, when an object moves into area that has no object entry, i certainly do believe the message displayed is different than what i posted (obviously) unless it is scripted to send a specific message, it certainly would not come from "IMecond Life".
i suppose if i had 4+ years of tenure here, i wouldnt have gotten such silly responses in the first place.
the post was clear and simple.
if it was too difficult to answer or reply, then those who did reply with nonsense, shouldnt have replied at all.
and this thread in my opinion is non-sense.
why post and start a thread on the obvious after getting in world linden sent messages, plus, its posted on the sites front page ?
how about i start a thread and lets see how that goes ?
my point is why does every "crap" on anothers thread simply because that person in their opinion is considered to be a "newbie" ?

Comments on the blog are closed! We need some mechanism to communicate our disatisfaction.

This past week I've watched my sl partner's business go down the toilet. Seriously if these asset server issues continue then people won't buy. If they don't buy then she's paying rent and classified fees and not receiving any income. result = net loss. There's no point in that so she may as well close down. It's the same for most business owners. They cannot afford this kind of loss for long.

The economy is teetering on the brink as it is. These issues couldn't come at a worse time.
