I don't have many SL skills but the first one I worked hard on was creating my shape. After lots of trial and error I created quite a nice shape and am proud of myself. It just takes time and practice to make a good shape and most people can do it for free instead of buying one. If you can move a slider you can make a good shape...eventually. If you want to look like a blowup doll buy a shape. If not, create your own. If you want a free shape or two just IM me inworld.

Hi Susie, I have been working on my shape with the sliders etc. It's starting to come along. I know what you mean about the blow up doll look. I am starting to like my shape because it looks more realistic. I will just keep tweaking until I'm satisfied instead of buying a shape. Thx Susie. Sina

From: Trout Recreant For the new people: <snip> Practice with freebie stuff before you do it with something you care about. Welcome to SL Sinabunz Trout has given you some very good advice there - and I would add look in the Library folders that are located at the bottom of your Inventory. There is a wealth of free stuff in there including shapes and skins and hair and clothes and outfits. Try it all out and play around. The Nightclub female skin is actually quite nice - I wore it for months and no one ever called me a n00b!

From: Sinabunz Loire Hi there, I am very new to SL. I bought a skin last night "Celestial Studios" Noir. I am at work, so I may not have the name exactly right. Anyway, I want to buy a shape now that I will be able to modify if necessary, but I want to make sure that it goes with my newly purchased skin. I don't want to spend too much money, but I want the skin to be decent. I could really use some help. Any suggestions? if the sims are back up and running im me in world and i can give you one to start you out, you can adjust it accordingly to your wants and needs

There's, uh, probably a lot of things you didn't know about lindens. Another, another interesting, uh, lindenism, uh, there are only three jobs available to a linden. The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

Sina If you're anything like me Sinabunz you'll be ok for a month and then one day you'll want to be a little shorter .. or a little curvier .. or a little cuddlier. Just a tweak on one or two sliders at a time, mebbe a slight upturn on the mouth, encourage that smile, or reduce those eyes just a smidgeon? That's good for a smile too. Some of us just can't leave those sliders alone
